Golden Valley Kennel Club, Inc. is an all breed kennel club incorporated as a non profit corporation under the laws of the state of California and is licensed by the American Kennel Club (AKC).

It is our purpose to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of pure bred dogs and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials.

ACTIVITIES

We present two dog shows, obedience trials and rallys annually under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

We conduct Canine Good Citizen® tests each spring and award Canine Good Citizen® Certificates to dogs that qualify.

Golden Valley Kennel Club sponsors regular conformation and obedience classes.

The club also supports other local non profit animal organizations and is active in providing education and information to the general public.
 

MEETINGS
 

The club meets the second Tuesday of each month. The meeting time and place is posted in the pets section of the Modesto Bee classifieds

MEMBERSHIP

Membership in Golden Valley Kennel Club is open to dog fanciers who are at least 18 years of age and are in good standing with the American Kennel Club

Applicants for membership must attend 6 meetings and participate in 2 events within 1 year of filing an application for membership and must be endorsed by two regular members in good standing.
